With the Civic Innovation Platform (CIP), the Policy Lab has been consciously focusing on the social, inclusive and participatory application of AI technology for the common good since 2020. In a nutshell, the CIP is all about one thing in particular: jointly realising good ideas – now for the third time already. Because it’s time once again: the third round of the CIP idea contest ‘AI is what we make it’ starts today!
Do you have an idea for how artificial intelligence (AI) can be used for the common good? If so, register here, search on the platform for suitable partners to further develop your idea and submit your idea directly via the platform by 26 January 2023.
The most promising project drafts will be selected from among all the entries and the idea creators will be invited to pitch their ideas. A panel of experts will decide which ideas will be recognised and then supported in their further development into a workable concept both non-financially (with advisory and workshop opportunities) and financially (with prize money of up to 20,000 euros).
You can find more information in the call for submissions to the idea contest and in the CIP FAQs. You will also find further useful information in the closed community area once you have registered. Or you can simply contact our CIP hotline on (0800) 808 1120 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
