We launched the Civic Innovation Platform
Dear subscriber,

On September 17th, we launched the Civic Innovation Platform (CIP), a new AI project that is particularly close to our hearts: With this platform, we want to ensure that there are more AI applications that serve the common good and contribute to social progress. AI applications can be used in all parts of society to encourage innovation, for example in areas like inclusion, occupational safety, and social participation. But how exactly can artificial intelligence improve these areas?

We are looking for trailblazers and innovators with good ideas who want to work with others to turn preliminary ideas into specific projects. The Civic Innovation Platform seeks to bring together partners from different areas, no matter whether they work at start-ups, established companies, associations, organisations, administrations or research institutions. What they have in common: They all wish to work with others to develop new and sustainable AI solutions for the common good.

At the core of the platform is a market of ideas, via which you can find partners with the skills needed for implementing an idea, as well as the ideas contest ‘AI is what we make it!’. We want to support the development of ideas for AI applications that are geared towards the common good and arise from collaborative efforts by offering funding of up to 20,000 euros.

The Civic Innovation Platform thrives on good ideas and creative partnerships! Register here, find suitable partners, and convince us of the merits of your idea!

And keep in mind: AI is what we make it!
