The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) would like to further shape this digital transformation process with the funding guideline "Sustainable enterprises and administrations in digital change", which has been extended to include a focus on AI.

The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs is already funding projects with the learning and experiment rooms in which new operational approaches to digital transformation are being tested. After the conception phase, the funding guideline "Sustainable enterprises and administrations in digital change", which has been extended to include a focus on AI, is now followed by the concrete implementation phase of the AI strategy, in the development of which the BMAS played a leading role.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is already changing our working world. For example, the use of AI-based assistance systems in crafts and nursing can be used to relieve the workload of employees. However, AI can also support personnel managers in strategic personnel planning in companies and administrations. Thinkable examples of the use of AI can be found in many areas of our working world - independent of the industry and the size of the company. The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) would like to further shape this digital transformation process and support companies and their employees in actively shaping change together. For this reason, innovative projects - especially those related to AI - are now receiving even greater support within the framework of the learning and experiment rooms.

The solutions found in the learning and experiment rooms are intended to serve as role models and, in particular, to give small and medium-sized enterprises the impetus they need to successfully master the challenges of digital transformation. Therefor, the partner networks of the „New Quality of Work initiative“ (INQA) will be used and further expanded.
